FLOODLIGHT OPTIONS
What are floodlights
The original Spitfire did not have modern backlit instruments, it relied on luminous paint on the dial faces and needles and used a pair of port and starboard spot lamps each side of the pilot to illuminate the panel, these could be dimmed independently of each other.
To keep an authentic feel, we other several options plus full backlighting of instruments if desired.
The control box
Our control box mounts to our panels and any original spitfire panel, and operates in the same way, off and dimmer control port and starboard.
